About the role 

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team! This role is responsible for leading, managing and motivating the Lotus retailer network to deliver world class leading commercial and operational business results. Additionally, this role remains responsible for growing Lotus fleet sales market share within the cluster area of responsibility by exploiting sales opportunities though corporate sales channels.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the execution of the retailer network strategy and changes within the region
  • Lead, motivate and inspire the retailer network to deliver business results in line with the APAC MEA business plan. For example, this will involve setting and delivering retailer targets and creating network engagement with APAC MEA objectives. 
  • Drive and deliver a performance management culture that continuously improves the retailer network. 
  • Contribute to developing and implementing sales strategy for the cluster of responsibility in alignment with the Superior. For example, this will involve consistently identifying new customers and partners to create and follow up on leads.
  • Recognise and forecast market trends, and the required measure to take advantage of/or combat the trend. 
  • Effectively lead and deliver all sales strategy related activities to ensure cluster sales are delivered against the annual plan and budget. For example, this will involve maintaining and building strategic relationships with a plethora of SMEs, leasing companies, brokers and key accounts.
  • Lead retailer & fleet sales performance reviews within the cluster of responsibility and keep senior management informed of key achievements & required remedial action. For example, this will involve maintaining own awareness of fleet sales performance to keep track on results vs budget, as well as continually considering sales data to build action plans for safeguarding performance and profitability results within the cluster.
  • Liaise with retailer marketing teams to produce and activate aligned retailer marketing strategies. 
  • Creatively implement tactical sales actions to support volume objectives involving strategic retail finance and/or EV tax benefits including charging cost.
  • Support dealer network development to appoint competent dealers in each location.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

Essential

  • Significant track record in a similar role delivering against targets (monthly/ quarterly/ annual) and is able to demonstrate an understanding of the KPIs/OKRs that drive sales. 
  • Strong sales management experience in communicating and influencing stakeholders at the most senior levels within the retailer network (with a proactive approach). 
  • Strong sales performance management experience and strategy execution within an automotive environment; ideally with retailer experience at a senior level. 
  • Able to work independently, communicate efficiently and demonstrate initiative without prompt. 
  • Comfortable working autonomously and thrives under pressure. 
  • Results driven and a proven sales expert, with the ability to influence and implement strategies. 
  • Extremely organised and able to work with parallel workstreams. 
  • An excellent knowledge and APAC MEA portfolio within the automotive network. 
  • Excellent English communicational skills; both verbally and written.
  • Advanced MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Language skills within cluster area of responsibility.
