Job Description
Procurement within LCU is going through a period of enormous transformation – we are enabling digital procurement solutions, embedding processes, and building an organisation to deliver this.
- The role will focus on 3 key areas as this transformation takes place.
- Ensuring LCU’s requirements are met as it grows.
- As our new digital solution comes online, embedding the technology across all procurement categories and geographies.
- Implementing the Lotus Global Procurement Policy, establishing robust, value adding processes for the US Market
Role Responsibilities
- Build the processes and procedures for this department. An increase in volume and a change to the current procurement structure will mean a different outlook is needed.
- Purchase of a broad range of goods and service to support all current and future growth.
- Build relationships with our colleagues Globally
- Build, Maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
- Monitor market trends and ensure we are ahead of the curve.
- Monitor costs, new and existing, and review cost reduction and value creation opportunities.
- Supporting LCU on its growth journey knowing when to push and when to pull as change happens.
- The successful candidate will need to navigate a complex stakeholder environment, where process and governance have yet to be established.
- Our strategic plan places an urgency on the business to strike the balance between robust systems & processes and enabling us to grow as an organisation.
- Global – All Regions where LCU are present.
Essential Criteria
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritize and achieve set tasks.
- Experience within procurement and supply chain, management of change within this domain
- Excellent communicator capable of establishing solid, professional relationships.
- Innovative mindset, able to generate new ideas and translate them into tangible results.
- Comfort with change, the ability to lean into uncertainty, be flexible and adaptable throughout.
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge of stakeholder groups across LCU
- Experience preferably gained within Automotive / Manufacturing / Technology sectors.
- Ability to formulate and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
