Title:  Laser Cut and Punch Setter/Operators

To set and operate a CNC metal profiling machine(Laser and/or Punchpress) to manufacture components for assemblies required for vehicle production projects and special orders as required.

• Produce components for assemblies on a CNC Metal profiling machine (Laser and/or Punchpress)
• Machine start-up, set-up and programme selection
• Tool selection ,cleaning, sharpening & set-up
• Reading of Engineering Drawings
• Inspection parts First off/last off  prior to next operation
• Completion of batch cards.
• Identification of maintenance concerns & first level resolution.
• Moving parts to next operation.
• Work in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines including keeping work area and machine clean and tidy.
• Responsible for using and keeping in good condition PPE equipment supplied. 
• Understand the need & work within the Company's flexible working patterns.
• Understand & respond to the quality & process feedback system
• Advise when Tooling is damaged or worn out and needs replacing.
• Meet quality & production targets as set by the area Supervisor.
• Keeping themselves & others safe at all times
