Lotus Cars are seeking an experienced Automotive/Commercial HR Business Partner to join our team in our office in either London OR Midlands.  The successful applicant will advise the Global Commercial Senior Management on HR strategy, policies and practices, be proactively involved in all HR aspects of the division reporting to the HR Director. Key contacts will include the Employee Culture and Engagement Partner and the Organisational Development / Comp & Bens Manager as well as the wider Central OD team 

 

Key elements of this role are: 

  • Have business/divisional awareness to allow for the effective support of the division allocated
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources in deploying HR strategy
  • Ensure Senior Management are aware of changes in employment law in all relevant regions / countries
  • Ensure a cohesive and productive relationship with staff council or relevant local bodies
  • Review and ensure consistency with HR policies and procedures
  • Lead of HR projects as and when require
  • Support our global employees through out the employee life cycle
  • Bring best practice and innovation to the HR offering to help drive and deliver business results
  • Update and review and share relevant HR analytics
  • Be a champion for all the people in our Us Lot community.

 

Essential:

  • The successful applicant will have a business-related degree or equivalent and ideally be a chartered member of CIPD
  • Previous experience within an Automotive environment is essential with a good knowledge of the commercial environment ideally including retail, direct to consumer and call centre environments.
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge in employee relations, reward, organisational design and development, employment law, international HRM, change management
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Balanced individual with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Effective communicator both verbal and written
