Job Description

  • Procurement within Lotus Technology Innovative Limited (LTIL) are going through a period of enormous transformation – we are enabling Digital Procurement Solutions, embedding processes and building an organisation to deliver this.
  • This role sits at the centre of the global LTIL Procurement organisation – in a newly-created team, who will act as internal procurement consultants to a growing business
  • As a Procurement Manager you report directly to the Senior Procurement Manager, responsible for sourcing strategy, supplier selection, negotiation and contract execution.
  • The internal consultancy team will develop and deliver a pipeline of strategic procurement activity globally.  The work will consist of both strategic sourcing and procurement infrastructure projects that meet the needs of the growing business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Procurement of a broad range of mainly indirect goods and services to support all current and future growth. 
  • Will also include internal procurement transformation projects that build a growing function
  • Part of an international team, focusing on executing high-priority procurement projects
  • Work on small number of discrete projects simultaneously, extracting the highest value and move on to the next priority
  • Build, Maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
  • Conduct RFX’s and bidding processes.
  • Negotiate terms and set up contracts together with our legal team
  • Manage risk assessments of external suppliers
  • The successful candidate will need to navigate a complex stakeholder environment, where process and governance are maturing.
  • Our recent listing on the NYSE places an urgency on the business to strike the balance with robust systems & processes and enabling us to grow as an organisation

 

Essential Criteria

  • Manage resources allocated to projects and / or work alone as a procurement subject matter expert
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritise and achieve set tasks.
  • Experience across a broad range of indirect procurement categories
  • Excellent communicator capable of establishing solid, professional relationships
  • Innovative mindset, able to generate new ideas and translate them into tangible results
  • Comfort with change, the ability to lean into uncertainty, be flexible and adaptable throughout
  • Experienced in RFQ processes, bidding management and supplier relationship management

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience gained within Automotive / Manufacturing / Technology sectors 
  • These roles would suit particularly individuals with a blend of PE/consultancy/startup experience, where variety and pace are high; and experience of what 'good' looks like in a mature organisation
  • Ability to formulate and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Experience of broader Indirects categories or the confidence to operate outside of core category knowledge

 

This role will primarily be based in the UK, with some travel to our regions in 2024.  The role is based in Farringdon, the successful candidate will expected to be on-site 3 days pw
