Talent Acquisition Specialist

We now have an exciting requirement for an Experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our busy recruitment team. Lotus are currently going through an exciting time of growth and are recruiting for a wide range of positions.  

Main duties:

Initially this role will have a focus entirely on non-permanent hiring, contractors (inside and outside IR35) and Agency Workers. Once all non-permanent hiring has reached a point when it can transition to Business as Usual, your remit will then cover all hiring, both permanent and non-permanent hiring.

  • You will take on a significant piece of work to understand and document the as-is business and systems architecture that currently supports all non-permanent hiring. You will make recommendations for changes to how non-permanent hiring happens across Lotus and implement these changes alongside appropriate levels of stakeholder engagement, communication and training for everyone who is involved in non-permanent hiring. The aim is to get our non-permanent hiring as efficient and effective as possible prior to this transitioning into Business As Usual.
  • Providing subject matter expertise in Inside and Outside IR35 contractors, alongside Agency Workers
  • Detail oriented to get to the root cause of issues and put in place long term solutions to resolve them
  • Understand invoicing and purchase orders as there is a backlog of invoices that require resolution
  • Clear communication and influencing skills in order to get everyone onboard for the transformation journey and to document how we do things around here
  • Simplify wherever possible and ensure all non permanent hiring is aligned across Lotus
  • Consistently demonstrates subject matter excellence in delivering a great talent acquisition service to their customers for both permanent and non permanent hires
  • Planning and delivering recruitment events to generate candidates
  • Planning and delivering all candidate attraction strategies focusing on direct sourcing
  • Planning best practice candidate selection methodologies
  • Working with our 3rd party agency providers to ensure SLAs are adhered to
  • Taking a key role in root cause analysis and continuous improvement of our recruitment service 
  • Able to see blockers in a process and manage resolution of any problems promptly
  • Project Management of improvement initiatives in line with Group Lotus Talent Acquisition Strategy and priorities
  • Delivery of target headcount for our internal customers
    •    End to end recruitment from job posting through to offer management and generating contracts
    •    Direct sourcing candidates, recruitment advertising and where necessary liaising with agencies
    •    Management of the companies ATS (Success Factors) and other recruitment portals
    •    Preparing recruitment reports, metrics and dashboards. 
    •    Promoting and helping to manage best practice in all recruitment and selection processes
    •    Proactive candidate management 



Essential Criteria:

Experience of in-house full life cycle recruitment, both permanent and contingent.
•    Experience of ATS systems, and proactive sourcing via LinkedIn and other direct sources and running recruitment events 
•    Knowledge of all appropriate employment law including IR35, protected characteristics and UK GDPR
•    Supplier management and processing invoices

•    Good level of IT literacy including Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•    Attention to detail
•    Good written/verbal communication skills to all business levels
•    Experience working in a fast paced environment
•    Excellent customer service focus 

Desirable Criteria:

•    Experience using SuccessFactors 
•    HR analytics, data and reporting skills using Power BI or other dashboards
