Role summary:

This role is crucial to deliver class leading process to the Lotus business. You will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise and support for the Issue Coordinator Team. Your primary responsibility is to lend advanced engineering knowledge to facilitate the swift and effective resolution of issues within your designated area. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and resolution of issues.

Role objectives:

• Lead the technical resolution of manufacturing & market improvements within Engineering, Production, Quality & Supply Chain.
• Apply advanced issue knowledge to identify root causes and implement robust solutions.
• Collaborate with Issue Coordinators, production teams, and relevant departments to address complex technical challenges.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to coordinate and implement effective solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Lotus functions to prevent recurring issues.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
• Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in technical issues within your designated area.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports to communicate insights and resolutions.
• Act as a technical liaison between different departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Key Stakeholders/Scope:

• Relationships with all areas of the business and third-party suppliers is critical in ensuring a drive for Total Customer Satisfaction in terms of product quality, delivery and service.
• This role is instrumental in elevating the technical support and coordination within the Issue Coordinator function, ensuring that manufacturing issues are addressed with precision and efficiency in the designated BICEP engineering area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of the technical intricacies and challenges specific to the designated area. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of leading the resolution of complex technical issues.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with Issue Coordinators, production teams, quality assurance, and other relevant departments..
• Proficiency in using Issue Management Systems and related software.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and production processes in the automotive sector.
