Lead Technician - Integration (Workshops) - Permanent Role - Hethel, Norfolk

 

As Lead Technician - Electrical Integration, you will take responsibility for carrying out Electrical rework to support Integration Test on various Lotus programmes. This includes Tear down and/or rework of donor harnesses, and fault identification and resolution including management of issues to closure. You will support Engineering, Procurement, Logistics and Quality throughout the project lifecycle and also support supplier or function owners to fix harness and wiring defect situation and join for necessary discussion.

 

This role requires collaborative working within the Electrical Engineering and cross-functional working groups to achieve good quality systems outcomes.
 

You will correlate and qualify technical information for development of the current platform including precise report and documentation for evaluation. You'll be working on multiple simultaneous tasks and manage your time across several ongoing projects. 

 

Skills & Experience required for the role: 

  • Wiring harness assembly using hand tools & proper assembly techniques
  • Follow work instructions (prints, cut sheets, sample harnesses)
  • Quality validation of wire harness assemblies
  • Tear down and/or rework of donor harnesses
  • Experienced in Vehicle wiring
  • Experienced in Vehicle PC diagnostic tools and Software updates
  • Experience in harness crimping, soldering and de-pinning
  • Full understanding of electrical schematics & circuit diagrams
  • EV trained (to work on HV and LV)
