About the Role 

As a Lotus Cars Graduate joining our Graduate & Programmes Function you will become part of a team helping define, develop and launch the next generation of high performance electrified Lotus sports cars as well as 3rd party projects.

During your 2 year Graduate Scheme you will be empowered to make a real difference to our business whilst developing commercial, core and technical skills through rotation and development opportunities.

Lotus is recruiting a IT Graduate to join our team based at our prestigious manufacturing site in Hethel

As an IT Graduate you will be supporting business critical activity whilst developing business requirement management and technical skills through rotation and development opportunities. You will be directly supporting the delivery of our Vision 80 transformation and objectives.

What you will be doing:

• Successfully complete functional rotations delivering on the required objectives and developing strong relationships across the organisation.
• Support the implementation of business improvement projects and product deliverables.
• Develop a deep understanding of Lotus operations and area functions responsibilities.
• Development and implementation of innovative Technology to support the Lotus business (this could be around Data Science/Analysis, Robotic Process automation, Artificial Intelligence, operational efficiency etc.)
• Develop strong working relationships with functional mentors and rotation managers
• Maintaining effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create a sense of community amongst teams at all levels and departments within Lotus.  

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Degree ideally computer science or similar 2.1 predicted or achieved
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
• Valid UK Driving License

Desirable:  

• Commercial, manufacturing or engineering experience / placement
