Title:  Financial Reporting Manager

Group Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for the internal and external reporting and integrity of the reported numbers with a focus on the balance sheet.  A key role in the finance team, this person orchestrates the month end close ensuring timely submission.

Role Objectives 
Manage month end close and monthly submission of results through HFM portal supported by team.
Preparation and review of month end management reporting pack supported by team.
Responsible for balance sheet including intercompany reconciliation, analysis, preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations supported by Group Financial Accountant.
Group Statutory Reporting for UK entities including Geely group reporting, preparation of final statutory accounts and management of external auditors supported by Group Financial Accountant.
VAT and WHT.
Statutory Reporting for Malaysian and Hong Kong entities including management of tax agents supported by Group Financial Accountant.
Any technical/statutory guidance or changes required.
Systems set up and support for IFS and Onestream supported by Management /Systems Accountant.
Identifying and implementing improvements in current processes and procedures.
Assisting in documentation of procedures
Management of the team of two.


Key Stakeholders
Finance team

Multi-faceted role dealing with month end close and submission, balance sheet, VAT (UK and international) and statutory accounts.

Recognised accounting qualification
Proven experience in accounting environment,  
Knowledge of UK and international accounting standards
Consolidation experience
Group reporting and larger entity experience rather than just SME
Knowledge of ERP and consolidation systems preferably HFM.
Team management
Manufacturing experience. (Desirable)
