About the Role: 


The role involves reporting to the Soft Services Manager. The Critical Process Supervisor is required to play a proactive role in supporting the Paint Shop Manager, ensuring Paint, Quality & SHE standards are maintained, filters and filter media are changed according to frequencies and general cleaning of the area is maintained.


There are several individual tasks that are included and mentioned in the employee’s annual appraisal.


The role will require flexible working due to the nature of the work, and although starting on days for training purposes, the hours will revert to be mainly a twilight Shift as follows:


Friday – Sunday: 7:00pm – 7:00am




Key Responsibilities Include:


  • To play a proactive role in supporting the Paint Shop Manager, ensuring that cleaning & filter changes are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
  • Supervision and guidance to other operators within the Lotus team, as well as the Churchill Cleaning Services staff.
  • To ensure Lotus paint shop processes and procedures are maintained.
  • Ensure all operators are working in line with the Lotus Health and Safety management systems.
  • Support the Robot Technician with basic maintenance tasks.
  • Take a proactive lead in continuous improvements, to include the 5s procedures, preventative maintenance tasks and ensure a clean compliant work area is always maintained.
  • Ensure equipment and tooling required is available and maintained.
  • Attend and support production meetings.
  • Assist the Paint Shop Manager with paint shop performance and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping.
  • Maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) and highlight and report abnormalities.
  • Audit spray booths to ensure that they are working at the correct time and temperature.
  • Adhere to Lotus safety procedures, permit to work and protocols.
