High Voltage Responsible Technician (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • As a core member of the vehicle engineering workshop team, to be responsible for the overall high voltage safety of the prototype vehicle and workshop operations (FHV / vEFK)
  • Create, implement and monitor application of high voltage work standards
  • Responsible for high voltage commissioning and sign-off and decommissioning of prototype vehicles and other high voltage systems
  • Conduct charging test, in collaboration with the powertrain team and system owners
  • Lead HV battery maintenance and repair activities (module, contactor, ...) under "live" conditions (HV3)
  • High voltage safety attribute development, ensuring the high voltage system, protection and work procedures meet regional requirements, and are implemented in after-sales and dealer processes

 

Requirements

  • Automotive electrical degree or equivalent experience gained in similar positions
  • Hands-on experience with high voltage system handling - high voltage certification level 3e (working on live systems)
  • Excellent knowledge of BEV powertrain systems and technologies
  • Knowledge about the standard automotive measurements system for diagnostic and testing purposes (CANape, CANoe, Inca, ...)
  • Project management and communication skills, to ensure accurate and efficient communications with various areas of the business. Ability to present status and report issues to top management level
  • Fluent in English, German is an asset. Ability to interact with a global and intercultural team
