EV Charging Professional (power and electronic background preferred)(m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • Sufficiently familiar with EV charging business at EU: charger manufacturing, EV charging operations, promising trend of market. Based on those, able to summarize pain points of charging and fully consider them when new products are designed. (Feedback to and collaboratively design with China’s Lotus headquarter so that develop the products that fit in EU local conditions)
  • Familiar with governmental or corporate dynamics such as EU charging policies, grants, standards, regulations, and corporate deployment for further charging affairs. Ensuring Chinese R&D approach for EU market goes adaptive
  • Responsible for setting the technical routes of EU standardized DC high-power chargers
  • Analyzing the functionality and structuring its propelling system
  • Supervise the whole process of R&D that includes design of hardware, structure, Electric requirement, related test and qualification 
  • Approve of the design of hardware, electric and structure. Ensure well-designed products 
  • Lead the planning and audit of technical routes of DC high-power chargers
  • Manage the milestone as well as the acceptance of related suppliers' R&D as agreed
  • Manage components' hand-over from the suppliers to own factories. Troubleshoot the issues that occur during manufacturing 
  • Provide technical suggestions for charger stations constructing
  • Responsible for R&D of high-power liquid-cooled AC/DC power supply
  • Responsible for R&D of high-power liquid-cooled chargers' terminate and thereof cables

 

Requirements

  • Familiar with criteria regarding power supply and switch for EV charging and thereof industrial trend
  • Familiar with similarities of DC hyper charging system, and of system of integration of energy storage and charging. Experienced on R&D of its dual switch charging units, DCDC, liquid-cooled system, monitoring system, power distribution system 
  • Understanding power semiconductor in depth with a systematic analytic capability of performance of IGBT SIC components   
  • Ever worked throughout R&D process, able to supervise the process from R&D to lot manufacturing within technical requirements 
  • Familiar with principles of energy storage system and specifications of energy storage power supply 
  • Electric-majored with a master and above degree, no less than 8 years work experience
  • University degree within Design and/or Fine Arts
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite with ability to visualise and communicate ideas effectively in 2D and 3D
  • An eye for detail and an interest in the development of colour and materials and the research and development of future trends 
  • Structured, methodical and analytical with good planning skills
  • Understanding of complete car development process
  • Strong drive, independent and confident, as well as a good team worker.
  • Flexible and able to work under constrained time schedules and frequently revised priorities 
  • The ability to plan and prepare in advance, in an environment that is constantly changing and evolving
  • A passion to deliver their best work and to strive to be the very best 
  • Resilient and used to managing multiple projects and work streams at any one time
