Chassis System Project Leader (m/f/d)

With the target of maintaning leadership position in vehicle dynamic performances, lightweight solutions and advanced concept, Lotus is moving forward in development and integration of advance mechatronic system for Chassis. 

For that scope, we are looking for a passionate person, which can lead the development of the Chassis system from concept to production for current and future programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead unique vehicle program for complete chassis development including suspen-sion engineering, steering system engineering, wheels and tires engineering, brakes engineering as well as vehicle dynamics attribute management
• Drive and secure system development work in time with quality acc. to development process from target setting over sign-off at launch to robust production of the vehicle
• Ensure balanced target setting within and across functions
• Participate in prototype builds and launch activities for his program
• Fully responsible to fulfill targets up to launch of the program
• Drive collaboration with all Vehicle Integration teams and cross functional teams to execute program successful
• Support LTIC vision and strengthen LTIC Vehicle Integration capabilities
• Other tasks assigned by line manager

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge in chassis engineering and vehicle dynamics attributes in general, strong on collaboration and coordination across functions. 10 years work-ing experience in comparable function
• Positive attitude, resolute and high drive for results
• Deep Knowledge in leading cross functional teams in vehicle systems
• Flexible regarding travels around the globe in order to participate in benchmark- and development rides i.e. at proving grounds during summer- and winter test, at suppliers, at different production sides and dealer shop when necessary
• Fluently speaking English for international communication and meeting
