ADAS Function Owner (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • Function owner/responsible for ADAS functions, e.g. collision avoidance
  • Create new function requirements for EU, UK and US market based on the understanding of the market, internal marketing, benchmark, and countries regulation constraints
  • Ensure correct understanding and implementation of requirements 
  • Support validation to ensure high customer performance
  • Report project status and escalate blocking points to line manager and project manager
  • Ensure that launch quality is robust over a lifetime and fulfills customer expectations
  • Manage the necessary functions adaptation to the specific market (compliance, service, contents, regulations, customer expectation etc…) in collaboration with global team
  • Participate on definition of ADAS and Autonomous driving strategies for Premium/Luxury segment vehicles
  • Promote and sponsor the creation of added value POC to demonstrate innovative ADAS solutions

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Computing science, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar
  • At least 8 years of working experience in an ADAS development environment
  • Experience with definition/requirement creation of ADAS functions
  • Knowledge on safety and comfort L2, AD L3/L4 functionalities
  • Understanding of Safety-related issues with ADAS contents, and competence to conduct safety assessments according to ISO26262
  • Knowledge in ADAS related regulations and EU-NCAP requirements
  • Technical understanding of Sensor technologies like Radar, LIDAR, HD Cameras, HD map, Ultrasonic
  • Clear understanding of Data Fusion algorithm, Pattern recognition, object recognition, Planning, and Decision SW
  • Have an “end to end systems” thinking view and be able to quickly identify and resolve gaps in requirements that can impact the execution of a function
  • Enthusiasm to work in different cultures
  • Be a never stop learning person, stimulate himself and the team’s curiosity about new technologies and processes
  • Have experience working with a global team including supporting global time zones and being able to work with multiple suppliers
  • Enthusiasm and passion to develop and test cars
  • Open-minded, solution-driven, highly motivated engineer
  • Excellent communicator with an open and structured mindset
  • Fluent in English
  • High level of engagement to solve any issues and drive issue resolution
  • Positive attitude, resolute and highly skilled to drive for results
  • Flexible regarding travels to UK Innovation Center, Sweden, China and other countries if needed
