Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • Development of quality concepts for suppliers
  • Preparation and implementation of supplier audits
  • Carrying out error analyzes in cooperation with internal specialist departments and suppliers
  • Define and monitor optimization measures
  • Organization and implementation of process approvals at suppliers
  • Continuous improvement of product quality and supplier processes
  • Creation and monitoring of test plans

 
Tasks
  • Perform 3A audit for new supplier according to plan
  • Leading APQP activities. Plan, organize, direct and conduct industrialization relate activities at supplier side
  • Develop, manage, audit, improve and correct supplier planning and execution of component manufacturing and assembly techniques and quality control processes from the advance development phase to mass production qualification.
  • Facilitate communication and clarification of technical requirement between suppliers and Lotus Purchasing, RD, MPL, Quality
  • Accountable for leading, tracking and improving supplier manufacturing process development, launch readiness for new products and design changes
  • Participate in supplier technical review, guide supplier in efficient use of poke-yokes.
  • Responsible for part PPAP approve
  • Leading quality issue investigate and ICA, PCA making, review and approve 8D report both pre-production and mass production
  • Monitoring supplier performance

 

Personal Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical university studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience both in quality management and in purchasing
  • Excellent technical understanding
  • High communication potential, also in English
  • Persuasive negotiation skills and intercultural competence
  • Your working style is characterized by an analytical and systematic way of working as well as a high level of process affinity
