IT Business Analyst/Project manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has the passion and ability to coordinate the development and deployment of  IT OA systems used within Lotus Tech Innovation Centre in Raunheim and other locations in Europe.

 

You will work primarily as a bridge between business unites and the development team.  Requirements from business side will gathered, consolidated, evaluated, and prioritised and then “translated” to a language that can be understood by software developers and system engineers and executed in a professional manner.

 

You will work with all levels of system end-users and the system development team to help determine and improve the future OA systems requirements and review its workflow to accommodate local rules and legislation. Fully support and coordinate the IT services where required.

You will work closely with the Head of IT other BU leaders to define and implement the IT strategy, to manage and optimize the IT budgets.

 

Responsibilities

  • To be the primary point of contact on site for all IT OA system matters
  • To provide technical support for OA applications and infrastructure such as (but not restricted to): BPM, eHR, SAP, procurement and etc.
  • Drive future solution development in accordance with Head of IT and other BU leaders  to continually improve the service provided
  • Liaising with local IT team to monitor IT support, performance, project delivery and Service Improvement Plans
  • Liaising with OA system development team to use best practises for improvements to local systems and application support across the business
  • To be the main point of contact for IT OA system issues and escalate problems
  • Liaise with the other members of the IT Department to enhance and improve service
  • To champion IT OA system solutions across the business
  • Prepare appropriate update reports for senior managers and corporate team
  • Liaise with the local Communications Team to arrange communications to staff for issues/system outages that may affect them
  • Liaise with local IT teams as appropriate to ensure IT system alignment with corporate strategy
  • To arrange and support the rollout of system training as appropriate
  • To scope, arrange and manage the rollout of system pilot projects relevant to the client
  • To project manage allocated IT projects from business case through to completion of rollout
  • Actively promote the company's commitments in relation to environmental awareness and sustainability
  • Other tasks assigned by the line manager

 

Essential skills & Experience

  • Previous working experience as IT business analyst for 5 years
  • Previous experience in help desk support will be an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of a variety of OA system, IT systems, databases, and applications
  • Any relevant additional certification (PMP or equivalent, ITIL or equivalent) will be an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex IT issues
  • Knowledge in modern programming techniques like Java/.NET/NodeJs/Python, in DBMS like SQL Server etc. will be an advantage
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and German, speaking Chinese (mandarin) will be an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail with competent vocabulary
  • BA Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar relevant field
  • Experienced in presenting to all levels.
  • Proven system management skills.
  • Proven experience of project management.
  • Proven excellent written communication skills
  • Knowledge of ICT industry developments
  • Ability to prioritise own work to support business priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally and externally´
