Responsibilities:
- Define with the validation, function owner, workshop team the vehicle fleet and validation strategy.
- Organize with the project the definition of the vehicle needed, quantity, and the timing to ensure that all the fleet is ready on time for all the European, UK or US activities.
- Ensure that the preparation of the vehicle is well taken into account, in term of equipment inside the car: Measurement laptop, logger, tracker, SW/HW definition, …
- Manage the sourcing of the service company and define the share of responsibility between them and Lotus Tech.
- Organize and lead the completed fleet execution for different purpose : data collection, validation or quality test.
- Define validation tactics and expedition route in taking lesson learn of the previous expedition.
- Define the budget, negotiate it with the headquarter, and ensure that it is respected during the year. All over or under consumption shall be reported to management.
- Ensure a frequent benchmark of our direct competitor to identify interesting new direction trend.
- Report expedition or validation status and escalate blocking point to line manager and project manager.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in ADAS development environment
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of vehicle fleet management.
- Experience in dealing with software traceability management.
- Experience in vehicle validation tool management and configuration (a minimum knowledge to use it is mandatory: Vector, BPlus, or DSpace or equivalent …)
- Experience in conducting vehicle expedition.
- Strong leadership in evaluating and managing validation supplier to execute defined test cases.
- Experience in global team execution.
- Enthusiasm and passion to drive and develop cars.
- Open minded, solution driven, highly motivated engineer.
- Excellent communicator with an open and structured mindset.
- Fluent in English, Notion in German and Chinese would be a plus.
- High level of engagement to solve any issues and drive issue resolution.
- Positive attitude, resolute and highly skilled to drive for results.
- Flexible regarding travels to UK Innovation Centre, Sweden, China and other countries if needed.
- High integrity and trust in all activities and communication.
