Group Organisational Development Director, Hethel, Norfolk 

 

Responsible for leading and overseeing initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness and employee engagement. You will work closely with senior leadership and Lotus Executives to develop and implement strategies that align with Lotus’ goals and values and deliver our Vision80 strategy and beyond.

Strategic planning:

  • Develop and execute long-term OD strategies aligned with the Lotus vision and mission, supporting HR operations with long term workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify areas for organisational improvement and growth.
  • Develop and deliver the annual HR OD strategic plan
  • Enable delivery of HR analytics for all areas of responsibility to help shape and drive business strategy.
  • Build and manage the OD budget to time and target.

 

Change Management and Transformation:

  • Lead change management initiatives to drive organisational transformation and ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies such as SoX requirements. 
  • Develop communication plans and training programmes to support change initiatives.
  • Develop the policies to support the future needs of the organisation.

 

Talent Development and Performance:

  • Based on the different stages of company’s development, to design and develop performance management system that combines organizational, team and individual performance in line with business characteristics. Implement performance strategy and system ensure best practice performance management support effective business strategy delivery and achieve its target.
  • Design and implement targeted talent development programs, online learning and compulsory training to ensure all employees have the skills and capabilities required to deliver their roles and grow aligned to our business strategy for continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Partner with HR Operations to identify talent gaps and succession planning strategies. 
  • Support best in class Early careers and Outreach programmes.
  • Provide coaching and support to senior leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities and promote effective team dynamics, focusing on the Executive and the Leadership Circle.

 

Employee Experience – Culture and Engagement:

  • Foster and drive the Lotus ROAD culture, Respect, One Team, Ambition and Drive.

  • Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention and satisfaction.     

 

Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and deliver resource plans through effective recruitment processes including effective technology platforms, EVP, online and social media approaches.
  • Identify and Build future talent pipelines
  • Ensure effective agency / supplier management including PSL development, monitoring and compliance.
  • Support compliance of managers, employees and contractors with relevant approvals and processes including training, systems requirements, IR35 management, GDPR and local legal requirements relating to talent acquisition.  

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the HRD Operations and their team to ensure alignment and integration of OD iniatives with other business functions and support development and engagement of the wider HR team.
  • Communicate the OD strategy and goals, progress and outcomes to stakeholders

 

Continuous Improvement and Best Practice:

  • Foster and support continuous improvement within OD and across the organisation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies relating to organisational development through external and internal networks.
  • Raise the profile of Lotus through recognition as an expert in the field through partnerships with external associations and speaker engagements.

 

 

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Development, HR, Business Admin or related field
  • Proven experience in organisational development and change management/ transformation in a rapidly moving industry sector / organisation
  • Extensive experience with HR technologies, ideally SAP Success Factors
  • Strong Leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations
  • Familiar with OD methodologies, assessment tools and performance metrics
  • Knowledge of legal requirements for OD, recruitment, diversity and people

Other Factors

  • This role will require some travel and an expectation of being on site at least 3 days per week.
